Famous Grouse

AMV BBDO Famous Grouse campaigns break the mould of whisky advertising, gone are the roaring fires and hills of romantic heather. Making Famous Grouse the biggest selling whisky in Britain, these popular campaigns are now being used across the world. Act Two-Um were commissioned to create images of the three brand types of Grouse used, red, black and white. The birds needed to be totally flexible and able to be put into any pose that the art directors chose. Using real grouse feathers that were plucked and then photographed we painstakingly hand placed each feather back into our CGi models, creating a photo realistic image each time. Once the full models were created they could be used for all media; press, TV, animation and web executions.
